Wyeth Campground

Wyeth Campground is a beautiful, secluded site with access to hiking on Wyeth Trail #411 and Gorge Trail #400 via Wyeth/Gorton Creek Trailhead.  It offers 14 individual sites and 3 group sites.

No hookups. No water. Please come prepared and bring the water you will need with you.

The Wyeth area was an early settlement site and was later used as a CCC camp in the 1930’s and a Conscientious Objector camp in the 1940’s.

General Information

Directions: From Portland, OR: Travel east on Interstate 84, to exit #51. Turn right at the stop sign at the end of the off ramp and another right onto Wyeth Road.  Travel about 1/4 mile on Wyeth Road. The campground is on the left.

From Hood River, OR: Travel west on  Interstate 84, to exit #51. Turn right at the stop sign at the end of the off ramp and another right onto Wyeth Road.  Travel about 1/4 mile on Wyeth Road. The campground is on the left.
